I Can Only IMAGINE.......
I was so amazed by the beauty of our country on my recent trip to California. It was just like Heaven is what I told Cameron when we come home. His response to me from the back seat of the car "How do you know what Heaven looks like?" My response with a smile "I can only imagine".... Here are a few pics. I played with photoshop on the black and white photo, added a little color to show you just how beautiful the color of the grapes were.

Lifting my spirits
Well since the presence of Ike and no electricity for a week, I needed a little lift. Where else did I turn to, my layouts. I will admit it has been fun having an extra few people around every night. ( We have a family of 5 staying with us) The kids have played outside all day, everyday. We have grilled out every night. I have had extra hands to help keep the house clean. I know it will all end soon and we will all be back to our busy lives where we have no time to stop and enjoy all the beauty that life gives us. Although we have no power and water for a few hours a day, I still have my home and my family. I am so thankful for this today! Here are a layouts that reminded me of all of this. I will post pics of The Woodlands and our yard soon.

Hard Times
Aye, Aye Matey!
So for Halloween I volunteered myself to head up the neighborhood Halloween party. It was alot of work, but the kids had a good time. We had 5 hayrides, pizza and dessert. I was amazed how many people showed up. Our neighborhood is growing and it is fun to meet all the new people moving in around us. My girlfriend, Danielle pretty much took over my kiddos for the night because I was manning the pizza and Omar was driving one of the hayrides. I didn't get to see much trick or treating so Danni took a few pics for me. Although it is not Thanksgiving yet, I can't tell you how thankful I am for all my wonderful friends!
